Filippos Alexandrakis
Lawyer, LL.M, External AssociateA member of the Piraeus Bar Association, Filippos Alexandrakis is a lawyer specializing in corporate, maritime and transport law in general.
He graduated from the Law School of the National and Capodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master's Degree in Maritime Law from the same school and in International Commercial and Maritime Law from the University of Swansea, where he graduated with a first with honors. He is a HELMEPA (Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association) scholar and has published a monograph on a specialized aspect of Maritime Law "The vetting clause in tanker chartering" (Nomiki Vivliothiki Press, 2019) as well as an article entitled "The remedy of exemplary damages in cases of fraudulent insurance claims" in the Journal of Business Law (2023, issue 1).
